Recently we arranged Event Insurance for the Bothwell Scarecrow Festival, which has become a yearly event, in which the whole community gets involved. In weeks leading to the 4 day festival, scarecrows pop up everywhere (over 400 this time) and locals young and old participate in a range of events from book readings to comedy nights, sportfest to gala concert, ending with the Scarecrow Parade and outdoor entertainment and any money raised (over £16,000 this time) goes to the Yorkhill Children’s Foundation.
